(Wednesday, January 30, 2002) -- Finger Lakes Race Track will race a 161-day meet in 2002. The track's 41st season of racing begins Saturday, April 13, and runs through Nov. 30. Post-times have yet to be determined.

The schedule, which has been approved by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, has live racing Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14 as well as Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20. Beginning April 21, the track runs Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday for four consecutive weeks.

During the week of May 19, the schedule expands to five days a week with the addition of Sunday as a racing day. The only exception is a six-day week the week of June 30, which includes racing on July 4.
