Rhinos join USL squad

(Wednesday, November 28, 2001) -- Rhinos goalie Scott Vallow and forward Steve Butcher, both 24, were named to the 19-player squad of United Soccer League prospects that will play in Portugal next month under the guidance of Rochester coach Pat Ercoli.

Vallow has led the Rhinos to back-to-back A-League Championships.

Butcher, a Buffalo-area native, started last season in Rochester but was loaned to Milwaukee, where he had six goals and two assists.
