Two Rhinos re-signing

(Tuesday, December 11, 2001) -- The Rochester Rhinos will announce the re-signing today of free-agent midfielders Lenin Steenkamp and Stoian Mladenov, the top scorers on last season's A-League champions with 22 points each.

Mladenov was a first-team league All-Star with seven goals and a team-high eight assists. He scored both goals in the 2-0 title game win.

Steenkamp, last year's team MVP and a Rhino since the 1996 inaugural season, had career highs in goals (9) and points and was a second-team All-Star.
